Well, This Is all brand new to me! I haven’t exactly been into the whole ‘blogging-thing’ until here recently.
The main motivation for me to explore this area of the web, was to share the things that happen through our travels around the U.S and try to give each person that reads this, a small glimpse into our daily life. You’ll all have to bear with me for a while.. (well, at least until I get the hang of it all)
I should probably begin by explaining what exactly it is that we do as a family. Hopefully, You all can gain something from our daily experiences, and get a laugh or two in the process. You never know what’s gonna happen with us!
So the members of the family unit are; Wade (Dad, 39), Lisa (Mom, 41), Marissa (Me-daughter, 17), Zackery (Eldest son, 14), and Caleb (Youngest son, 6). We all sing, play music, minister the Gospel, and travel 80% of the time.. WE LOVE IT! There is nothing that our family would rather do!
Now, of course, we all have our moments where we become slighty exhausted and wish we had time to slow down..but then we take a second look and realize that what we do, and what God allows us to do, is the main reason that we are on this earth. He has blessed us so abundantly to do what we love to do, and I plan on living my life to give Him the glory and praise that He deserves.
I understand that people have several different views and opinions about what we do for a living and how we spend our time; but if you are unfamiliar with God, Christianity, Evangelism, The Great Comission, Christian Music (Southern Gospel to be specific), Miracles, Healings, and the power of the One True God.. Then You might not find this blog appealing to your personal liking in the slightest bit. However, I can’t apologize for that.
‘Why are you writing all of this, and why are you even spending the time to post and document your travels?’ The answer to that question, (that I would imagine some people are asking), is simply that there are several people that we meet all over the world, and this is simply a place for people to stay updated with our family and what we are up to on a daily basis.
At times, my Father (Wade) will be writing in this blog, but 95% of the time it will be me! This will be a look inside my head, a look inside our travels, and a small picture of our amazingly crazy, wonderful, and exciting life. As we travel, I will post Updates from the services, the concerts, and other ministry venues that we take part in..so ‘stay tuned’ if you want to catch everything. Now, I can’t promise that I will be writing every day..but whenever something awesome or funny happens..you can count on reading about it (:
